No role models

ATTN BLACK SISTERS  EXCERPTS: “Designed to specifically to destroy the self image black women, one of the ways that black males use music to steal our power is by reinforcing the Madonna/ Whore Archetype to a funky beat. This notion of "The Good Girl' vs "The Bad Girl" is heard over and over again in black music and its implications have far-reaching affects on the minds and hearts of black women and girls (much less my attempts to get my juices flowing before hitting the streets). One of the songs that I recently placed into that category was this... “ “After 3 or so minutes of blaming his lack of Integrity on black women, he signs off with an homage to the "good' girls of the 90's, who'se level of actual 'goodness' he has no idea of. They REPRESENTED The Good Girl, and thats all that matters; thats all that it would have taken to have prevented HIM from being the disrespectful, trifling nigga he is today. The hook warns other black men - "Dont Save Her". Dont even TRY to redeem "Bad' black women. They are UN-SAVEABLE and DESERVE what they get. “And those black "females" (Hos,Thots) who are to be mistreated and discarded. There are to be NO attempts to 'save' all black women; no attempts to REDEEM them and if one is foolish enough to try, they are CLOWNED by their colleagues, and labeled a "Lame' or a "Simp'. Those black women who are WORTHY will be defended and chosen, while those who are not will be fed to the wolves. Nobody questions this. It is simply UNDERSTOOD. And none of these black men are called to ANSWER for suggesting that some black people (women) are valuable, while other black people (women) are expendable. . Everything fits into two very neat boxes. There is no confusion; no mental or emotional inner conflict. Those who are deserving get your love and support. Those who are not, Get Got and Get Lost. Period. Easy breezy, nice and easy.” [MOST VALUABLE WISDOM]   Black *WOMEN* are not let off so easy. *WE* are fed a steady diet of The Struggle Plate, in order to keep us LOYAL to the black community and ALL the black males therein. *WE* are told that we should rally and protest and fight and protect the interests of ALL black men - from the least to the greatest, no matter what they may have done in their past and what choices they are making, now, because...well....all black lives matter. We are encouraged to protest, picket and rally for any black male who is killed by non-blacks, no matter HOW seedy his background and no matter HOW criminal his activity. We are told to forgive, accept, defend and support them in our lives and in our beds, REGARDLESS of their standing in society, and REGARDLESS of their perceived value by outsiders. *WE* as black WOMEN are told that to save them ALL, is to save ourselves and that to be good Race Women. NO DISTINCTION should be made between those who are savable, and those who are not. Anyone who questions this narrative is an 'agent' or conspirator with white supremacy. THAT is what *WE* are told. And *WE* aint offered no funky beats to back it up.

Black women have internalized this reality so much, that they dont even see it for the racket that it is. We proudly strut our stuff to the VERY music designed to keep us hating each other and ourselves, like Debbie Allen schoolin that lame white woman in the 2nd season of Fame.  The next time someone tries to guilt you into getting involved with some sob story involving a black male, remember this; Dont save him. He dont wanna be saved. DONT SAVE HIM. HE DONT WANNA BE SAVED. Dont. Save. Him. He. Dont. Wanna. Be. Saved. Tell whoever insists, that you've had NO ROLE MODELS and so you cant try to redeem black men.”  Mic Drop.
